These terms apply when you register as an organ donor or donate on this site. Save7 is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO 270-417, PBO 930078608) in South Africa. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Registering as an organ donor

Registering records your wish to be an organ donor. In South Africa your family gives the final consent, so please tell them.

You must be 16 or older to register. If you’re 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must agree to your registration on the form.

Donations

Donations fund Save7’s work, such as the registration platform, awareness campaigns and organ donation projects. PayFast processes your payment.

Section 18A certificates. We issue one on request for your tax deduction. Request a certificate.

Donations in honour. If you give R5 000 or more in someone’s honour, their name goes on a plaque in a LifePod donor ICU. Only enter a name if that person, or their family, agrees.

Refunds. Donations aren’t refundable. If something went wrong with a payment, email us and we’ll look at it case by case.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and a change doesn’t apply to donations made before it.
