Our projects

Save7 is committed to creating meaningful change through projects focused on education, healthcare, and sustainability. Each initiative is designed to make a lasting impact, improving lives and building stronger communities. Discover our projects below, and join us in shaping a brighter future.

The Lifepod:

The Lifepod is a dedicated donor ICU at Tygerberg Hospital aimed at doubling the transplant rate, potentially saving 100 lives annually. Currently, the lack of a formal transplant facility results in the loss of up to 100 organs each year.

We’re building the first dedicated transplant ICU to save up to 100 lives through transplantation annually.

Raising Awareness:

Save7 promotes organ donation awareness in South Africa through social media campaigns, in person events at universities and high schools and curriculum changes in medical schools. We’ve reached over 2 million people since starting in 2021, and, with your support, will continue to turn the tide on the organ donor crisis in South Africa.
